Grand Celebration of Sri Jitamitra Tirthara Aradhane 2006
Aradhane Location: At Sri Jitamitra Tirthara Sannidana Katte
Aradhane held on: December 19-21, 2006
Aradhane of Sri Jitamitra Tirtharu, 11th yati under Sri Madhvacharya held in the island of Krishna and Bhima river, "Jitamitra Gadde" from 19, 20 and 21st of December 2006.
Aradhane program was highlighted with the
divine presence of H.H. 108 Sri Sushameendra Teertha
Swamiji (Peethadhipathi of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matha, Mantralaya)
and H.H. 108 Sri Suyateendra Teertha Swamiji
(Kiriya Peethadhipathi of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matha, Mantralaya).
On 19th Prathaa aradhane occasion, Alankara to
Sri Jitamitraru
was performed and Pooja and Anna santarpane was carried out. In the evening,
Dasavani musical program was performed by Sri Krishnendra Vadekar.
On auspious Madhuaradhane day both swamiji’s were received in a beautifully
decorated cart with traditional Poorna kumbha.
Sri Moola Ramadevara Pooja was performed by
both swamiji’s in front of Sri Jitamitraru followed by ashirvachana,
mudradharane and other activities were performed. On this day about 2,000
devotees enjoyed this special occasion. In the evening Upanyyasa’s by various
Pandit’s and Dasavaani program was given by Sri Raichur Sheshagiridas.
On Uttaradhane day Pavamana Homa was performed by Veda vidwan, Pandita Ratna
Sri Rukmandachar. Apart from this devara nama’s were sung by different
Bhajana Mandali’s, Asttotara parayana, Brahmana alankara bhojana and Anna
santarpane programmes were held.
On these three day’s all the age’s devotees were attended and participated in
Sri Jitamitra Thirthara Aradhane.
All these programmes were carried out under the guidance of Sri Dr. Jitendra
Shivpur and other relatives of Shivpur family, who were lineage of
Sri Jitamitra tirtharu.
